　シンガポールでは中国系の人が多いが、英語が主であり、ほかには中国語とタミル語とマレー語が話されている。

　新加坡華文速記／林惠遠著、〔新加坡〕：教育出版社、1986。これは漢語の速記の本である。

　McGraw-Hill社の支店もあり、グレッグ式の本も売られている。
